To Night Time Fab!
Third piece rule: Having 3 pieces in your look besides your shoes. The top and bottom are the first two and the third piece is an extra outfit element such as a jacket, blazer, sweater, vest or statement accessory(as stated by whowhatwear.com)
Adding a third piece demonstrates that there was effort put into your look and adds an interesting factor as well. I chose a motorcycle jacket because I wanted to be edgy (who doesn’t love edgy from time to time). I knew I wanted to keep my look all black so I decided to wear my fave single strap sandals which keeps the look minimal. To add a final touch I added my signature red lip and silver choker necklace.
To summarize, below you’ll find the tips in a more condensed form:
Tip #1. If you know you’ll be heading out at night, make sure your casual look is basic but can be glammed up at night.
Tip #2. Remember being casual can be showcased through your shoes, Sneakers are great during the day and heels are perfect at night. Not to mention, you’ll want to rest your feet before wearing heels the whole night.
Tip #3. Third piece rule is your friend! Bring another piece to add to your look such as a motorcycle jacket or light coat.
Tip #4. Bring your Make up and accessories with you so you can add spice. Lipstick is the perfect way to take your look from day to night and be sure to change your jewelry.
Let me know if you enjoyed this look & tips! How would you take your look from day to night?

Enjoyed this post and good tips too- lippy and heels are a quick way to zazz up an outfit for nighttime. I like the proportions of your top- short at front and long at black!
