Hey Fashloves,
Cheers are definitely in order because it’s finally Spring! While I am more of an Autumn girl, I’ve been loving all of the ready to wear Spring/Summer runway presentations that I’ve seen this past fashion week so I’ve totally been inspired. Click here to check out my Rachel Zoe post that shows major Spring Inspo and to understand my excitement!
Lately I’ve been purchasing more Spring inspired pieces (finally straying away from neutrals), so in a very Fashilluminous-esque fashion I’ve compiled a quick Spring/Summer style guide that you all can utilize during this season and when you’re looking to purchase new pieces as well. I purchased this entire look from Charlotte Russe, which is the perfect one stop shop when needing to build a trendy look from start to finish.
1. Romper/Shorts
Who doesn’t love shorts in the Spring/Summer? I’ve really been into rompers lately because not only are they convenient when getting dressed (just slip them on), they are also very easy to style. When choosing a romper, be sure to take your body type into consideration. Some rompers are meant to have more of a loose fit, so purchasing it in the wrong size may result in your cheeks hanging out.
2. Bold, Vibrant Prints
Typically during the Spring season, bohemian prints are all the rage. You find these prints mostly in pants and dresses so be sure to give them a shot when shopping. I absolutely love the print on my romper in this post and also how the colors blend together seamlessly.
3. Gladiators Baby!
Simply saying that I am excited for gladiator season is an understatement. I love the strappyness of these sandals and how they draw just the right amount of attention to your legs. Gladiators typically make their debut around this time every year so be sure to snag a pair because they won’t be heading out of style any time soon.
4. Shades, Please
I hope this quick guide can help those who plan on doing some Spring shopping soon. If you have any questions about certain pieces, current trends, or styling please feel free to click here to ask!
