This past Saturday I had the pleasure of attending Fenty Beauty’s Mattemoiselle Meet and Greet featuring beauty/lifestyle Youtuber Raven Elyse! I’ve been here for this latest release from Fenty’s line and when I seen that Raven was hosting her event featuring these lippies at my local Sephora in JCPenny I knew I had to attend. I’ve been a subscriber of Ravens for a while now (I started watching her videos back in undergrad) and I’ve always loved her sense of style and relatability!
During the event we were able to learn more in depth about the Fenty Beauty products from the Sephora team. Raven chatted about her favorite products from the line, we received creative tips on how to use certain products, and guests were able to get shade matched for the foundation. They also spoke about the Mattemoiselle lipsticks which have been my ultimate faves!
The next portion of the event was the meet and greet! We were able to have a quick one and one with Raven and you were also able to snap a photo and/or video. She was super sweet and chill which was awesome! I was able to get the 411 on her fave lipstick from the line, which is the green Midnight Wasabi shade. It was great seeing her and the guests interact with one another as well. After meeting with her and capturing my photo/video, I headed straight to the Fenty Beauty display to get a few swatches of the lipsticks.

Fenty Beauty released 14 stunning shades within their Mattemoiselle lipstick line back in December of last year. From a vibrant periwinkle blue to a bold burgundy, these lipsticks definitely get the job done of ensuring there is a shade for every mood. I currently have 3 lippes so far in the shades Clapback (Navy blue), PMS (Moody brown), and Griselda (bold burgundy). Let me tell ya’ll these lipsticks are bomb! The application is so smooth and the pigmentation is on a 100%. I’ve been staying away from super drying matte lipsticks so Rihanna and her team dropped this new addition to her collection just in time!
All in all, I really enjoyed this event at Sephora in JCPenny! Not only was I able to meet one of my fave Youtubers but I was also able to interact with Fenty’s awesome products. Also, if you’re on the fence I definitely recommend you get at least one Fenty product and trust me you’ll be going back for more.
Until next time!
