During the month of January I have been all about beauty. From awesome releases to trying new products that have already been on the market, I found myself in Sephora way more then I probably should have this month. As a treat to myself for my birthday, I invested in products that have easily become regulars in my beauty regimen.
Lately when it comes to beauty there are a few types of products that I’ve love trying. Concealers and foundations are on the top of the list and luckily, thanks to Rihanna, I was able to try new complexion products this month! Anywho, lets just jump straight into my January beauty finds and favorites for the month.
Fenty Beauty Instant Retouch Concealer
When Rihanna announced that her make up line Fenty Beauty would be releasing new complexion products I was too excited. Did I mention that it was also released on my birthday? A win-win! I purchased the concealer in the shade 410, to be used as an under eye highlight. This concealer is super creamy and really blends like a dream. I also really love the applicator so naturally it has become my every day concealer.
Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer
So let’s get into this primer. I had been hearing all of my beauty guru faves rave about the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer last year but kept convincing myself that I didn’t need a new primer. As, if! Once I found out that Tatcha released the mini travel size version of their primer I immediately jumped on it. This primer is super soft and makes my skin really smooth. It’s great for those who don’t want a super drying primer but want the blurring effect underneath their make up. I also really love the smell!
Fenty Beauty Instant Retouch Setting Powder
Ya’ll. This powder is EVERYTHING! I purchased it in the shade Nutmeg to be used as a overall face setting powder. I was only using pressed powders to set my make up in place and was actually in the market for a new loose powder. The other loose powders I tried in the past were way too red but this Fenty Beauty powder is the perfect shade. It’s really finely milled and does a great job of blurring/setting.
NARS Orgasm Blush
Courtesy of Ulta, I received this beauty cult favorite for the first time this month! – Thanks Ulta! Anywho, I really love the flush of color and shimmer this blush adds onto my cheeks. I’ve been using it as a blush topper (so using it in combination with other blushes), and ya’ll it’s a really cute. It adds a rose gold tint and blends beautifully on the skin.
