To say I’m ready for Spring is an understatement. Perhaps it’s because Summer 2020 wasn’t necessarily a thing or maybe it’s because I am just literally over cold weather – either way Spring I’m ready for ya! One of my favorite aspects of the different seasons though is the fashion that comes along with it. I’ve mentioned before here on the blog that fall styleis my absolute favorite but let me tell you, I’m super excited for all things spring fashion this year.
I figured that as I count down until Winter is no longer upon us I would begin to prep for Spring fashion (think white dresses, flirty florals, denim skirts – all of the things!). In this post we’re going to get into 5 tips for transitioning your wardrobe from Winter to Spring and trust me once I get the first feeling of warmer weather I’ll definitely be utilizing all of these.
1. Sport your sweaters with dresses/skirts
This tip is one of my favorites – hence my outfit that you see here. Wearing the sweater is the perfect way to keep warm for chillier mornings and you can even opt to remove it for warmer afternoons. It’s also super chic!
2. Bring out the boots
One of the first things I think of when it comes to Winter are definitely boots. When you’re transitioning from Winter to Spring, no need to pack all of them away! You can definitely pair your boots, especially am over the knee pair, with fun spring dresses.
3. Incorporate more Whites
White is definitely a Spring color staple. For this tip start bringing out white dresses, pants, and skirts. If you and white clothing pieces don’t get along opt for creams and tans instead. I personally plan on getting quite a bit of white/cream clothing items myself!
4. Blazer me Please
Blazers do a great job of chic-ing up an outfit while providing warmth. Pair your looks with an oversized or boyfriend blazer and it’ll get the job done.
5. Sport a Trenchcoat
Speaking of outerwear, a trenchcoat is another great option (especially for those Spring rain showers). It’s a good alternative to the heavy winter coats and like a blazer, will provide warmth needed.
Are you as excited for Spring this year as I am? Let me know if these tips help and what you’re looking forward to the most!
