If you think you’ll look effortlessly chic without a pair of sunnies then think again. Just kidding! But really, sunglasses are a great affordable way to look chic. When you think of any ultra chic style icon one thing they have in common is that they typically don’t let accessories overpower their looks. Try to keep your jewelry down to the essentials. For example, if you’re wearing a high neck long sleeve top skip wearing a bracelet and opt for a gorgeous pair of earrings instead. Keep your outfits more streamlined and always remember that less is more!

Tip Four: Always Have a Gorgeous Bag on Hand

If you’re a bag lover like me then this should be an easy one! Adding a nice bag to your look will always take your chic level up a notch. Also, don’t ever think it only has to be a designer bag. There are gorgeous affordable bags on the market that can absolutely do the trick. I personally think smaller bags in neutral colors work best but choose the size that works best for your height/body type.

Tip Five: Incorporate Luxe Textures into Your Outfits

Textures are absolutely necessary in an effortlessly chic wardrobe. Textures such as tweed and satin are a few great options that will give you that luxe look. Tweed blazers like the one I’m wearing above and satin dresses/skirts are my ultimate favorites!

Bonus Tip: Neutrals Are Your Friends!

I love wearing neutral colors because they are effortless and very easy to style. Great colors to build any chic outfit from are blacks, creams, white, tans, grays, and navy. These crisp colors make outfits very clean cut and help streamline your look. An easy outfit idea is a cream satin blouse, black trousers, and black pumps.
