I have to admit, I am definitely a denim jean lover. I’ve accumulating quite a few pairs over the years and somehow I still find myself saying ooh and ahh when I find a new one that catches my eye. Which brings me to this post haha! Since they are such a unique pair of jeans and I’ve been getting quite a few questions about them on Instagram, I decided to bring an Agolde Criss Cross jean review in hopes of helping those who are also interested.
I first saw this pair of jeans while watching a fashion video on Youtube and automatically knew that I needed them in my life. Shortly after I decided looked them up and noticed that they are sold at a few different retailers but most of them were pretty low in stock. After finding them on Revolves website in my size I decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair.
Sizing
I purchased these jeans in a size US 29. I typically go between a size 8, 9, or 10 depending on the style and make up of the jeans. The size 29 fits me perfectly so to me they are pretty true to size. They currently offer sizes 22 to 32 for the Agolde Criss Cross Jeans in particular.
Fit
These jeans aren’t made of super stretchy material. I would actually say they are maybe about a 1 out of 10 if there was a stretch range. I still find them pretty comfortable and they aren’t snug at all. Since I am a little hippy, they do hug my curves but are looser throughout the legs. I am about 5’6 to 5’7 and they hit me above the ankles with heels.
Wow Factor
So we need to get into the design of the waist. These jeans feature a criss cross button fly that makes the right side of the waist to sit higher. This actually accentuates the waist, in the best way possible, without being uncomfortable. I also got them in the color suburbia which is a super pretty light wash.
Price
These jeans are NOT cheap! I spent over $100 on them which makes them my most expensive pair of jeans to date. The cost made me debate on if I should get them but I decided to bite the bullet anyway.
My final thoughts
These jeans are everything! I absolutely love their fun design, fit, and overall style. While they are pretty pricey, I definitely think they are worth it if you’re open to spending that much on a pair of jeans. Shortly after I bought them I saw that Asos has a few similar options available at a lower price point. Anywho, I definitely recommend checking them out, especially if you can try them on in person.
